About ISIC

You are cordially invited to participate in the 3^rd International Scientific Interdisciplinary Congress (ISIC) that will take place from April 14th till April 16th, 2010 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The International Scientific Interdisciplinary Congress (ISIC) is one of the largest biomedical conferences in Ukraine and one of the main events in Kharkiv National Medical University.

In May 2008 this conference was held for the 1^sttime. ISIC is a forum for scientific exchange of medical students from different faculties and young scientists. This not only enhances the international, interdisciplinary, scientific exchange, but also strengthens the cooperation and cohesion of a united Europe and Ukraine.

The main aim of our Congress is to give a possibility to students to share their ideas and views, to get acquainted with research work and to present the results of their scientific works to the international auditorium. Setting The setting for the congress is Kharkiv, a city with large amount of students, one of the main industrial, cultural and educational centres of Ukraine. We also offer a social programme that will help you to learn something new about this country and people, our traditions and way of life. The programme ends with a post-congress tour, in which you can see a little more of Ukraine.

On this year the congress will be consist of 12 sections:

5. pediatrics and neonatology;
6. medical genetics;
7. neurosurgery;
8. traumatology and orthopaedics;
9. infectious diseases;
10. neurosciences;

12. hygiene and social medicine.
