Social Programme
ISIC is not only a scientific happening, it also offers an extensive social programme. At the end of every congress day there will be the possibility to meet other participants, drink something and make some moves on the dance-floor. Both presenting and non-presenting participants will be able to join in this social programme.

For those who arrive early on Tuesday, after the registration and accommodation, there will be a guided tour at the Kharkiv National Medical University (KNMU). You will have an opportunity to visit Historical museum of KNMU and Anatomical museum of KNMU. Also this day we will organize Research centres visiting, the more detail information about which you can find at our web-site (LINK).
Wednesday, April 14th 2010
After the Opening ceremony there will be an attractive Concert, organized by our students. This Concert will show you a lot of interesting about Ukrainian culture and traditions. Then we will provide 4 guided tours: around Kharkiv National Medical University with Pathological-anatomical museum visiting; at KNMU Historical museum; at KNMU Anatomical museum; at Sexual Cultures museum. After this there will be the opportunity to get to know other participants during a nice lunch at KNMU Students’ Cafe. In the afternoon will be guided tour around the Kharkiv city centre. We will end the day with a Welcome party.

In the middle of full day of interesting research presentations and workshops we will have a buffet for everybody. On Thursday evening we will organize a big National Party, where you can travel around the whole world and experience a lot of different cultures. Don’t forget, that you also have to show other participants and visitors the habits of your own country, for instance with traditional clothing and food. So bring it along!

Next to the plenary presentations you will have an opportunity to have a lunch with other participants. On Friday night there will be a great Farewell party. Because there will be no congress day the day after so this party will go on till the break of dawn!
Saturday, April 17th 2010
After three intensive congress days all participants will have the opportunity to see more of Ukraine besides Kharkiv. Together with organizing committee you can visit one of the most beautiful places of Ukraine – Svyatogorsk. It is a perfect moment and way to relax from all impressions of the ISIC. Before we will go back to Kharkiv, we will have a barbeque at the river beach. Make sure you will be there because it is a fantastic way to end your stay at Ukraine! If you want to enjoy this wonderful day, you’ll have to be quick, because only 80 people can join us!
As you probably already noticed, the ISIC is not only a good opportunity to expand your scientific network, it is also a place to make a lot of fun and meet other medical students from all over the world. You will get to know more about the research they are doing and about their country they come from. Enough reasons not to miss this event.
